Reminder to come see the VMTN Experts at VMworld Europe 2009

by Steve  | February 19th, 2009

What a busy day today!!!  I leave for France tomorrow and have a few last minute things to take care of today.  I need to pick up some pants from the tailor, trip to the bank that has Euros on hand as well as a haircut.

If you are attending VMworld Europe you will also be able to find me at the Tripwire booth and we are going to have some really cool goodies.  We will have ConfigCheck and or new tool OpsCheck available as well as a very cool t-shirt.  If you’re feeling too esxi then I have the shirt for you.  Confused about that?  Come by the booth and see for yourself.

There is one thing I would really like to say about the virtualization blogging community. This a community of wonderful people that really play nice with each other.  The information on the experts session below came via Tom Howarth’s announcement first.  Jason Boche’s announcement came next with permission to borrow from Tom.  Jason put in the time to get everyone’s picture and gave permission to re-blog. Re-blog is my new word kind of like a re-tweet.

It gives me great pleasure to proclaim the VMTN: Ask the Experts session has been confirmed for VMworld Europe 2009. Come and see us in the community lounge during the following dates and times:

- Tuesday the 24th - 1:00 - 2:00 - community lounge
- Wednesday the 25th - 1:00 - 2:00 - community lounge

You will be able to meet VMTN community members, moderators, bloggers, and book authors and ask the most difficult questions on virtualization topics you can think of or discuss a success or issue with your environment.

I can’t guarantee we will be able to answer all questions, but we will try hard! At VMworld 2008 the VMTN panel even managed to answer a question the VMware staff at the Genius bar could not.

Panelists (in no particular order):

We hope to see you there! (special thanks go out to the fellows who had a hand in making this happen: Richard Garsthagen, Tom Howarth, Duncan Epping, and anyone else I may have missed.)
